Aeotec utilises the latest 5th Generation Zwave Plus technology. This is intelligent RF wireless mesh technology which allows each device to communicate through the closest device back to the gateway or controller.

The more Zwave devices there in proximity to one another the more coverage you will have for wireless communication between devices.

Zwave technology allows interoperability between other Zwave devices. Zwave plus has anon obstructed range of 167 meter ( 547.9 feet).

Battery life in Zwave plus devices can last up to 2 years. If there happens to be an issue on the Zwave network , Zwave plus devices will heal & repair the network faster thanever before.

They have greater fault tolerance with the Explorer Frame feature, which is used to heal broken routes (within the mesh network) caused by devices that have been moved or removed.

Z-Wave Plus Devices offer 2.5 x more bandwidth than Gen4. More bandwidth = more speed = improved response time between devices. What this means is that a device that is acting as a repeater can handle more and relay the signal faster. Your Zwave modules, IFTTT applets, and triggers will all perform faster too.
